Young Baek Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-hyun) comes from a very simple life in the countryside and moves to the big city to study law and become a great lawyer. When he gets hired by a large department store chain, he encounters a clumsy (and hostile-looking) intern who never uses the printer properly.
After helping her several times, he falls in love with the girl and opens his heart to her. He simply didn’t know that she was Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won): heir to the chain store empire, working undercover in this sub-job. Hae-in appreciates the boy’s initiative and decides to get involved with him.
Later, everyone comments that they got married out of pure interest, but Hyun-woo sincerely loved the girl – but that only lasted a few months, when he realized that his stone heart and hard face were permanent. So he finds himself condemned to spend the years of his marriage in an endless farce, pretending that the two of them are the perfect couple.
One day he decides to divorce her because she is unhappy. But when he finally finds the courage to put her plan into practice, he discovers that Hae-in has several tumors in her head and now only has three months to live. Will he leave her anyway or wait until she dies?
The first two chapters are now available on Netflix and the rest will be released weekly. The series will have a total of 16 episodes, each lasting an average of one hour. In the cast we see names like Park Sung-hoon, Lee Joo-bin, Kwak Dong-yeon, Yoon Bo-mi, Na Young-Hee and others.
