The “Bear” star, who recently starred in “Iron Claw” alongside Zac Efron, may soon be playing a boss! Boss is the famous nickname of the legendary Bruce Springsteen, who holds the record as the first musician to appear on the US charts in six decades.
According to DeadlineJeremy Allen White was in talks to play the rock star in a film based on one of Springsteen’s albums, his 6th album, Nebraska, released in 1982. The movie is called Deliver Me From Nowhere.
At the moment, nothing has been signed yet. Still, we know, as early as Deadline , that Scott Cooper will be in charge of writing and directing. Scott Cooper is best known for directing Crazy Heart, a feature film that already focuses on a fictional country musician played by Jeff Bridges. Check out the trailer above.
Scott Cooper has also directed The Blazes of Wrath, the western Enemies and most recently The Pale Blue Eye for Netflix.
The well-known distributor A24 will be interested in the project.

The film is an adaptation of the book by Warren Zanes, titled “Save Me From Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska”. It tells the story of the making of the Nebraska album. This is the album that preceded Born in USA.
Jeremy Allen White is on the rise. She recently won a Golden Globe, an Emmy and a SAG Award for her role as Carmi Berzato in Bear. Seasons 3 and 4 are currently being filmed.
