After taking full control of Hulu in November last year, Disney+ finally got a separate tab with streaming content. As reported by Disney’s YouTube channel, US subscribers can now access the platform via the Disney+ application, which has unified its catalogues.
This marks the most significant technical, operational and product evolution for Disney+ since its launch, an evolution that reflects a broader technological transformation we are undertaking. This work will drive a better, more engaging user experience with Disney+ and lay the foundation for the innovations and improvements we’re planning for the future.

With the merger between Hulu and Disney+, the streamer also announced, in 2023, the combination of the platform’s content with Star+, initially launched to allocate more adult content from the studio and partners, such as former FOX channels and ESPN sports broadcasts .
In early March, the Mickey Mouse studio officially revealed when this merger will happen in Brazil: June 30th. The date was announced in Chile, however Disney stated that the deadline was valid for all of Latin America.
