Running on M6 for fifteen years, the short-form domestic scenes entertain viewers every evening, Monday to Friday at 8.30pm. But are the humorous adventures of famous couples still so consensual? Not so sure, because the recipe and the jokes aren’t all there… to the detriment of the audience.
“The challenge for us is writing”
Stefan Moat, Deputy CEO of Kabo Family (the company that produces the fiction), spoke candidly about the future of the series on M6. In an interview with our sisters and brothers Figaro On February 22, he revealed what plan the Scènes de Ménages teams will implement to help the flaw regain its bite.
During this interview, a key stakeholder stated:For us, the issue is about writing. We try to find a more corrosive tone. We realized, and this was an observation shared with M6, that we had lost a bit of that tone that is the trademark of Scènes deménages. So we are working on it.“
Big surprises in “household scenes”
So what measures will be taken to restore the Scènes de Ménages to all their glory? Do these basic maneuvers also indicate that fiction is in danger? Continue on the M6…
Either way, as previously announced, Emma and Fabien’s second baby should make for some delicious scenes! Additionally, the hiring of a former Robin Hood member to play Leslie’s father should also shake up Leslie and Leo’s day-to-day lives (Vinny Dargo, who spoke TV 7 days)!
In the credits of Scènes de Ménages, fans will find Valérie Carsent (Liliana), Frédéric Boural (José), Anne-Élisabeth Blato (Emma), David Mora (Fabien), Amelie Étas (Camille), Grégoire Bonet (Philippe) Clairette. (Leslie), Winnie Dargo (Leo), Claudia Mongoumu (Louise), Riad Bax (Jalil), Fanny Cottenson (Christine) and Didier Bennuro (Gilbert).
