The magazine denies having posted bail for Daniel Alves; see positioning


The former player was released last Monday (25th), in Barcelona

The magazine “Quem” spoke on Sunday evening (31) about the information relating to the payment of the bail of former player Daniel Alves, released last week. The news was reported by the “Fiesta” program on the Spanish broadcaster Telecinco. The Brazilian newspaper classified the situation as “fake news” and said it had not been contacted by the European outlet.




“Regarding the fake news circulating according to which Quem would have paid the bail of the player Daniel Alves, we would like to point out that the information is false and we have not paid for any complaint produced. Furthermore, we have never been contacted by the ‘Fiesta’ program ‘, from Spanish TV, to confirm the facts”brought the note.

Daniel Alves paid a bail of 1 million euros (R$ 5.4 million) and was released last Monday (25), in Spain. The former player was granted bail and will await his appeal outside prison. The former athlete was sentenced to four and a half years in prison for sexually assaulting a woman, in a Barcelona nightclub, at the end of 2022.
