The latter makes an excuse by announcing that he is going to make one last round to check that there are no children left, but Jules has her doubts.

Back at the bar at Le Mistral, Jules tries to talk to Barbara about the problem, but the latter tells him that the daycare called him to warn him that the young man was 30 minutes late to pick up Yael. She explains to Jules that she cannot get in trouble with the director because she is a single mother and the places are expensive. Jules leaves without discussing the topic.
