The story unfolds after a mysterious incident at WizTech, where an adult Justin Russo has left his wizard powers behind to live a normal life with his wife and children. However, the unexpected arrival of a young wizard seeking training forces Justin to confront his past and protect the future of the wizarding world. The young magician, Billie, will be played by Janice LeAnn Brown, while Alkaio Thiele and Mimi Gianopulos will play his eldest son, Roman Russo, and his wife, Giada, respectively.

The announcement of the sequel to the series was made in January 2024, but since then images of the series have appeared on social networks, in which we can see that they are already in the production and recording phase.

A few days ago, the official account of Disney Plus, also on X, announced that this fall we will enjoy new images of the series, also posting a before and after image of Alex and Justin Russo.
Although the exact date is yet to be announced, fans are eagerly awaiting the return of this beloved series that marked a generation.
