Parents can be held responsible for abandonment
The Civil Police through Deaji (Specialized Police Station for Assistance to Children, Youth and Elderly) will investigate videos that have gone viral on the Internet in which children and teenagers appear to be arguing in street fights broadcast on social media.
According to Deaji’s chief deputy, Daniella Kades, even without registering the complaint, the police station will investigate the case. According to the Civil Police, in addition to Deaji, the DEPCA (Specialized Police Station for the Protection of Children and Adolescents) will also work together on the investigation.
Again according to delegate Kades, the parents of the children can be held responsible for the abandonment, as can those who promote the fights.
The videos are recorded in various neighborhoods of the city, with resources that make it difficult to identify the places where the clashes take place. Among the fighters there were teenagers, as well as children.
