Donald Trump calls illegal immigrants “animals” and “not human beings” during the presidential campaign

Donald Trump, former president of the United States and current Republican candidate, called illegal immigrants in the country “animals” and “not human.” The speech took place last Tuesday afternoon, the 2nd, at a political event in the state of Michigan, in the central-west of the United States.

Together with some authorities, the candidate spoke about criminal cases involving suspects who, according to him, are in the country illegally.

With this speech, Trump insinuated that cases of violence and crime following the arrival of more illegal immigrants will increase in the USA if he does not win the November 5 elections.

Trump’s attacks

From the pulpit where he was speaking, the former president decided to display a poster with the following phrase: “Stop Biden’s border massacre”, to attack the current president of the United States.

In his speech, Trump also recalled the crimes committed by illegal immigrants in the United States, highlighting the case of the murder of student Laken Riley, a 22-year-old student originally from the state of Georgia, where the main suspect in the crime is a Venezuelan immigrant , underlining once again that illegal immigrants are “animals”.

“Democrats say ‘please don’t call them animals, they’re human.’ I say, ‘No, they’re not human, they’re not human, they’re animals,'” Trump said in the speech.

Trump also used his speaking time to describe a meeting with the family of Ruby Garcia, a 25-year-old American woman killed last month by a suspect in the country illegally. In an interview with NBC TV, Garcia’s sister denied that the former president had spoken to her family.

“He didn’t talk to any of us, so it was shocking to see that he said he talked to us,” Mavi Garcia said during an interview with NBC.

Controversial and unproven talk

In his speeches, Trump also stated that immigrants who illegally cross the border with Mexico are people deprived of their liberty and who decide to cross borders illegally to escape sanctions from their countries of origin. According to him, the presence of these people in the United States tends to make the country more violent.
