The main story follows a couple of exes, played by Clooney and Roberts, who can’t stand being together but form a temporary alliance when their daughter Lily (Kaitlyn Dever) announces that she is getting married to a boyfriend (Lucas Bravo’s Gede). . she whom she met during a holiday in Bali.
Trying to convince her that she is making a mistake by rushing into marriage, a marriage they made years ago and lived to repent, they head to Bali, where they go to great lengths to sabotage their upcoming nuptials.
