“I haven’t talked to Tobey about it, but maybe Marvel or Columbia Pictures have. I recently worked with Marvel on ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, so I have a good relationship with them. “I’m sure I would have known if the project had continued,” Sam Raimi added.
The director even ruled out a Spider-Man 4 in the near future: “Marvel and Columbia have had a lot of success with the current Spider-Man movies, and I don’t know if they’re going to do it. proposes to tell this story.’
Even so, Sam Raimi showed his full support for the current ‘Spidey’ movies, starring Tom Holland: ‘I love all the new Spider-Man movies. I loved “No Way Home”. It was really exciting to see Tobey [Maguire] back to it.”

Kirsten Dunst, who played Mary Jane Watson in the installments, was also receptive to the idea in an interview with “Marie Claire”: “Yes, I would do another ‘Spider-Man’ movie.” They pay me a lot of money, I have two children and I support my mother.”
In 2021, Dunst had already told Variety that she “would do it” if offered to play Mary Jane again: “Why not? It would be funny. At this point I would be the old MJ with the little ‘spidey’ babies.
Sam Raimi, for his part, commented to ComicBook after the premiere of the “Doctor Strange” installment that “anything is possible” in the Marvel multiverse, which opens the door to a fourth “Spider-Man” film: “I love Tobey. I love Kirsten Dunst. I believe everything is possible.”
