Friday April 5th at Un si grand soleil…

Francois is going to take revenge on Boris

The atmosphere is especially electric at Laumiere’s house. Indeed, Boris voted for the merger, much to his father’s chagrin. While Frances tells him to come to his senses, Boris, who believes that this social plan is unfair, is not going to change his voice until he is guaranteed that he will not be fired.

Elizabeth, on the other hand, tries to understand why Boris changed his mind. Although Allen advises her to join forces with someone else, Elizabeth refuses. In fact, the latter does not want to restart the process from the beginning.

At L. Cosmétiques, Bilal, Karine, Leonor and Enrique discuss a possible truce when Boris joins them. The latter then tells them that he voted for the merger before adding that they needn’t worry anymore.

Meanwhile, Claudine, Élisabeth and Francois are looking for a way to get the merger done without a vote from the board of directors. Unfortunately, they cannot do anything without Boris’s vote. To achieve this, Francois asks Elisabeth to release Boris, but the latter refuses to teach him how to run his business. As tensions rise between the two business leaders, Claudine steps in to calm them down. It encourages them to claim damages from the partner bank that published the business plan. He also knows an agency that specializes in economic intelligence and asks them to send an expert to see more clearly.

Back at L. Cosmétiques, Elizabeth asks to speak with Boris. He then explains the reasons for his choice regarding the merger. However, Elizabeth, who thinks he’s only doing this to stand up to his father, reminds him that if the merger doesn’t happen, L. Cosmétiques and OCI will lose the confidence of the banks. And if investors follow him for the moment, everything will fall apart when he leaves. That’s why this merger happened so that he and his father could guarantee this transmission. Bory then replies that he wants what’s best for this company, but not at any cost, and even less so if half of the employees have to be unemployed.

In the evening, Catherine and Boris dine with the savages and toast their victory. With a smile on her lips, Ekaterina assures her son that she made the right decision and asks her to stop doubting.

For his part, François is going to bite the dust on Boris and promises that he won’t be disappointed with the trip…

Hugo and Alex take a big risk

Hugo is a little stressed. It must be said that today is the day of the barbecue organized by Commissioner Becker. Sabine tries to calm her companion, but to no avail. Indeed, Hugo is convinced that his father-in-law has a grudge against him, and it is with Alex’s complicity that he intends to find out why.

At the end of the day, Hugo and Sabine go to the Becker house. The doctor immediately offers to help prepare the barbecue, but the commissar refuses, preferring to ask Ian for help.

Later, Janet scolds her husband for his behavior towards Hugo. If Becker finally admits that his son-in-law is a little difficult, he still refuses to give reasons. Just then, Alex joins them and puts her phone on voice recorder mode on the kitchen cabinet to record their conversation.

When they are alone, Janet and Becker resume their discussion. But when her husband explains that Hugo is a womanizer, Janet discovers Alex’s phone. The commissioner immediately asks for explanations from his colleague. Uncomfortable, Alex insists that she did something wrong when she hung up the phone. If Hugo tries to help her, Becker doesn’t believe them, adding that they’ll talk about it later.
