The Good Doctor: The series star reacts to his tragic departure in the final season

Warning, major spoilers! The following article will highlight the highlights from The Good Doctor Season 7 Episode 5.

The good doctor literally shocked the audience last Tuesday, during the transmission of episode 5 of the 7th season: his tragic departure, or rather his tragic death, left the community completely speechless and devastated.

In the episode titled “Who’s at Peace,” Dr. Asher Volke (Noah Galvin) is beaten up in an anti-Semitic attack while her boyfriend Jerome sits in a nearby restaurant waiting for a proposal.

The scene in question takes place at the end of the episode where Asher reconnects with his Judaism. After attending a patient’s wedding ceremony, Dr. Volke takes Rabbi Benjamin (David Attar) back to his synagogue, which has been vandalized by two vandals. Usher then told them to go and there would be no problem.

However, when one of the attackers identifies Asher as a Jew himself, the surgeon responds:I am Jewish. He’s gay, actually, and I’m calling the cops.” They finally leave.

This seemed to be the end, Rabbi Benjamin then said to Asher:Engagement“. They shake hands and Usher walks alone to his car. That’s when the vandals appear, sneaking up behind him and fatally stabbing him in the head. Rabbi Benjamin finds him, he is already dead.

Noah Galvin reacts

The next day, the poor doctor’s translator disappeared. Noah Galvintook to Instagram to talk about David Shore’s landmark medical drama starring Freddie Highmore.

I’ve spent the last four years in Vancouver working away from my fiance, my dog, and my family. It was hard, but these people were so worth itE”, wrote the actor while sharing a series of photos taken behind the scenes with his colleagues. “I love you doctor, thanks for everything!!

She was then one of six new characters introduced that season, along with Dr. Jordan Allen (Bria Samone Henderson). Both actors became series regulars in the following season.

Openly gay, Usher later begins a relationship with nurse Jerome (played by Giacomo Baesato). Tuesday’s episode marked the two-year anniversary of their first date, during which Jerome was about to propose.

Usher’s disappearance comes in the middle of the shortened final season good doctor. His farewell will take place in just 10 episodes: continuing on Tuesday, April 9, with episode 6 airing on ABC in the US.
