Chris Hemsworth’s butt appeared in one of the scenes of the trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder
One of the most attention-grabbing scenes in the trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder(2022) was the one that shows the butt of Chris Hemsworth – however, it was also one of the most difficult to film and the reason behind it is hilarious.
During the red carpet of the film’s US premiere, scenography director, Barry Baz Idoinecommented with deadline that the filming drew a good laugh from the crew and cast, which counts with Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson and Russell Crowe.
“It’s incredibly difficult to film the butt of Chris Hemsworth. I mean, nobody concentrates, nobody does the work, everybody is looking at his butt, they’re not looking at what they should be doing. That was a challenge,” he explained (via E-Popcorn).
In an interview with comic bookdirector Taika Waititi also commented on the scene: “We all knew we wanted to do it from a very early age. That was in the first draft of the script, actually, and Chris was on board too. You know, I think if you have a body like the Chrisyou know, even he understands.”
waititi joked: “It would be a waste not to show it off. It would be a crime against humanity. So, you know, yeah, you have to support the masses.”
