Accustomed to action movies, Alban Lenoir is unfortunately not immune to some painful surprises. That’s what happened on the set of Julien Leclercq’s Wages of Fear, which is currently number one in the most watched Netflix platform. In an interview with AlloCiné, the actor explains how both quadriceps were cut.
“At one point, when I was in a pool of oil, I had the very bad idea of staying in it for hours and hours while Anna Girardot had the intelligence to come out every time she took it.he explains. The water was very cold and when I got out it was a sprint.“
Racing for the next sequence was clearly a bad idea. And because trouble never happens alone, Alban Lenoir had to shoot a fight scene in prison three days later. “Needless to say, it hurt a lot.“- he explains with a smile.
Snow on the set
This little incident is just one of the team’s many memories during their three months in Morocco. Right in the middle of filming, everything was stopped… due to snow. It was the first time in more than twelve years that snow fell in the country.
“It was a huge disasterAnna Girardo recalls. It was an adventure within an adventureTo overcome this problem, the entire team took shelter in a hangar converted into a studio to continue filming in Casablanca.
“It’s great that you have a director who is in charge and who tries to find a solution in a few minutes.“, – reacts Alban Lenoir.
