In Asia, out of nowhere, an incredible thing began: children began to awaken special powers, which at first frightened parents and society, but which later became normalized. In Japan there is the UA School, which accepts students with special powers and prepares them to become heroes of the future.

These powers are called “individuality” and every person can have one starting from the age of four. Since the birth of many powerful children, the existence of individualities has become common in society, even if not everyone is able to express them, as in the case of young Izuku Midoriya.

Midoriya, also called “Deku”, grew up seeing and hearing stories of great heroes who saved people, put out fires, and fought dangerous criminals. Deku has always wanted to become a hero to help people and, who knows, be as powerful as her greatest inspiration: the superhero All Might. However, unlike her schoolmates, her quirks did not express themselves at the age of four and she grew up without powers.

However, just like the young people in his school, he wants to take the UA entrance exam and become a hero, even if he has no power. One day, weeks before taking the test, he risks his life to try to save a friend and this gets him noticed by his hero All Might, who reveals that it is possible to transmit his individuality to Deku.

Now it remains to be seen: will the young man be able to responsibly control this power to become a great hero and save people? Or will it ruin everything and be a huge failure?

On the Netflix streaming service it is possible to follow the first 5 seasons of the anime; On the Crunchyroll website you can watch the first 6. The next season should arrive in mid-May this year.
