Investments from NuInvest, Nubank’s intermediary, will be integrated into the fintech’s main application starting May 2024
Investments from NuInvest, a brokerage firm Nubank, will be integrated into the main fintech application. According to the company this Tuesday (9), with this approach account holders will be able to contract and manage their CDBs, stocks, bonds and other assets in one place. The rapprochement between the platforms should be completed by May.
More investments in the Nubank app
The measure transfers NuInvest offers to the Nubank app, which is used to manage your account, credit card, insurance and much more. To the Canaltechthe financial institution explains that, with the change, the investment app will no longer be available for purchases and asset monitoring.
This means that, from May 7, 2024, the financial institution’s customers will have to manage their assets directly via the Nubank app. However, NuInvest will remain available for refunds and transfers, as the platform will not be shut down.
With the change, investors will have an easier time managing their assets, as all solutions will be concentrated in one place. The fintech also highlights security features currently available in the main app, such as Street Mode to protect investments when outside of a location considered safe.
Investors will also have an intelligent defense at their disposal, to identify patterns and request confirmation via facial recognition in case of different behavior.
I have an investment in NuInvest. I have to do something?
Depends. If you have a Nubank account you do not need to make any changes as your wallet will be synced automatically. “All Nulnvest investments will be automatically integrated into the Nubank application by May 7, without the need to make asset transfers,” the company explained.
However, if you only have access to NuInvest, you need to create an account with Nubank to manage your assets. “Users will have until May 6 to complete the process, as from May 7 the NuInvest app will no longer be available for purchases and asset tracking, but only for refunds or transfers,” explains the company.
Nubank will also send communications to customers informing them of the migration from the platform to the main app in the coming weeks.
