Five years after the release of the controversial The Rise of Skywalkerwhich concluded the third trilogy of Star Wars in 2019, Daisy Ridley prepare to revive Rey in a new feature film in the franchise, but now much more confident than in his first foray into the universe created by George Lucas.
“I believe that today I can say that I mastered the character. I thought I did the first time. Basically, I’m an adult now. I certainly didn’t feel like an adult back then”declared in an interview with Empire.
“Obviously, personally, things have changed, and professionally, I’ve had a lot of other experiences, so this time will definitely be different.”added the actress. “There’s a lot of pleasure in making these films. Still without an official title or release date, the new film by Star Wars must show Rey creating a new Jedi Order. Sharmeed Obaid-Chinoyin Ms. Marvel (2022), was chosen to direct the new film. In addition to Daisy Ridley,no new names have been added to the production’s cast so far.
