Quiet on Set, about Nickelodeon controversies, has an early premiere in Brazil

Quiet on Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV, which received the national title of O Lado Sombrio da TV Infantil, arrives this month in the Max catalog

Max released, this Tuesday (9), a preview of Quiet on Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TVa documentary series about the dark behind-the-scenes of Nickelodeon, one of the most popular children’s channels on TV, and revealed that the production will arrive earlier in the streaming platform’s catalog.

The novelty of Investigação Discovery, which received the national title of The Dark Side of Children’s TVaddresses alleged cases of moral and sexual harassment behind the scenes of successful productions such as Zoey 101 (2005-2008), Icarly (2007-2012), Brilliant victory (2010-2013), Drake & Josh (2004-2007), Sam & Cat (2013-2014) and Amanda’s Show (1999-2002).

One of the focuses of the series is the producer Dan Schneider, described as the “golden boy” and responsible for the channel’s main successes, such as those mentioned above. The production also features testimony from Drake Bellone of the stars of Drake & Joshwho speaks for the first time about being a victim of sexual abuse while working on Nickelodeon productions.

Previously scheduled to debut on April 16, The Dark Side of Children’s TV will be available a few days earlier, from the day April 13th. Watch the trailer below:
