To the sadness of fans, we will no longer know what Jon Snow’s life will be like after the events of. According to Kit Harington, who plays the character in the saga, the script is no longer being considered by Warner Bros., at least for now.
I had never really talked about it because it was in development. I didn’t want it to be known that it was in development, and I didn’t want that thing to happen where people start theorizing or getting excited about the idea or hating it, when it might never happen. And currently it’s not worth it. That’s out of the question at the moment because we couldn’t find the right story that we were all excited enough to tell. So we decided to leave it aside for now. There may be a time in the future when we go back to doing that, but not at the moment. It’s firmly on the shelf.

It’s worth mentioning that the derivative Snow, as it was titled, would follow the character in the post-GoT events. Production was confirmed in 2022 by George RR Martin, writer of the books on which the franchise is based. In 2023, however, HBO showed signs that production may not take off.
