In addition to the Oscar won in 2022, Billie Eilish and Finneas can enter the Academy
Billie Eilish and finneas received an invitation to join Hollywood Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The list was released last Tuesday, 28, and includes 397 people from 54 countries.
At this year’s awards, the brothers secured their own statuette of best original songwith “No Time to Die,” from the soundtrack of 007 – No Time to Die. Eilisheven became the youngest person to win the “triple crown” after winning Golden Globe and Grammy in the same season.
Other guests include producers, actors, directors, musicians and more. Anya Taylor-Joy (Last Night in Soho), Ariana DeBose (West Side Story), Ryusuke Hamaguchi (Drive My Car) are some of the invited names (via NME).
The list also has seven Brazilians: Selton Mellothe directors Bruno BarretoJeferson De and Emilio Domingos – ultimately responsible for Favela Is Fashion (2019) – the producer Sara Silveirathe executive Ilda Santiago and the sound engineer Waldir Xavier.
If all the personalities accept the invitation, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Hollywood will have 10,665 members who can vote in the categories of the Oscar from the 2023 edition.

This year’s Academy selection appears to be looking for more inclusion, as 44% of the invitations went to women, 37% to people from underrepresented ethnic groups and about 50% to people outside the United States. The list also contains 71 Oscar nominees and 15 winners.
