Eight days before the start of Serie B, Coritiba and the other 19 competing teams still don’t know when they will take the field. So far the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has only released the basic table, with the matches for each round and the period in which each will be played.

However, the exact date and times have not yet been announced, in contrast to a rule which states that a match must have its fixture list defined at least ten days before it takes place.. Term that the CBF had already used to publish the ranking separate from Serie A and which has now moved, with surplus, to the Second Division.

What is certain, so far, is that Coxa will make his debut in the tournament against Ponte Preta, at Moisés Lucarelli, in Campinas. However, the duel could take place on the 19th (Friday), 20th (Saturday) or even 21st (Sunday) of this month.

Coritiba continues to train

Even if you can’t plan your trip to Campinas exactly, Coritiba continues to train at Graciosa CT. Next Monday (15th), Alviverde will complete three consecutive weeks of activityhaving played two training matches during the period.

The first was the 4-0 defeat of Rio Branco, last Wednesday (10), while the next one will be Saturday (13th), when they face Operário.
