Five Nights at Freddy’s will have a sequel and a premiere date

Blumhouse and Universal Pictures announced, during CinemaCon 2024, the continuation of Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Neverending Nightmare, a horror film based on the video game series of the same name released last year. The producers also released a first forecast: in 2025.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Neverending Nightmare is an adaptation of the video game series of the same name released in 2014. The game is set in a pizzeria that has an animatronic bear as its mascot. With the arrival of a new night security guard on site, the goal is to survive the night, which reveals several bizarre and hostile animatronics inhabiting the place.

Directed by Emma Tammi, the film stars Josh Hutcherson Hunger Games, as the protagonist. In addition to him, the cast includes Matthew Lillard (Scooby-Doo), Elizabeth Lail (You) and Mary Stuart Masterson (Fried Green Tomatoes).
