Léo Arcoverde gains space after standing out for his data analysis in ‘Em Ponto’
On Thursday evening (11), Léo Arcoverde made his debut as a commentator in the team of ‘Central GloboNews’, a program dedicated to discussing politics with behind-the-scenes information.
Replacing the current Natuza Nery, presenter Mônica Waldvogel welcomed her colleague. The edition also saw Gerson Camarotti, Daniela Lima and Flávia Oliveira in the studio.
Léo Arcoverde earned points as director of the channel thanks to his performance in the news program ‘Em Ponto’, broadcast from 7:00 to 9:30. He uses the screen to analyze data on various topics, particularly politics, economics and public safety.
In addition to his degree in Journalism, the journalist studied Law and obtained a master’s degree in Economics. He worked on “Diário de Natal”, “Caros Amigos” and “Agora SP”. He started at GloboNews as a report producer.
Arcoverde’s entry into the rotation of political commentators of the ‘Centrale’ is one of the innovations linked to the coverage of this year’s municipal elections. The broadcaster needs to expand its analyst staff due to the large number of live programs.
