The Cityzens appear top of the Premier League and are closer to winning the English title
The weekend was magical for Manchester City, who saw their opponents fall by the wayside and, as a bonus, Pep Guardiola’s team moved top of the Premier League.
Last Saturday (13th), Manchester City hosted Luton Town and didn’t notice. 5-1 victory and pressure on direct opponents: Liverpool and Arsenal. From the sofa at home, Cityzens watched the zebras stroll through Anfield and the Emirates Stadium. In the first match, Crystal Palace defeated Liverpool (0 x 1) and Aston Villa surprised the Gunners (0 x 2).
With the matchday draw, Manchester City took the lead and even took the lead in the standings (73 to 71), which brought the team closer to the title.

Just like last season, Pep Guardiola’s side took the lead in the closing stages as Arsenal, then leaders, piled up errors and abandoned the pitch.
Now the order is to keep our foot on the accelerator and make the most of the points in the last six games to define the season in England.

In the final six matches, Manchester City will have a busier schedule with four matches away from home. Therefore, only two will be held at the Etihad Stadium.
