Netflix has released the poster and trailer for “A Man in Full”, a miniseries based on the novel of the same name by famous writer Tom Wolfe (“Bonfire of the Vanities”).

The plot revolves around Charles Crocker, an Atlanta real estate tycoon who faces ruthless adversaries and sudden bankruptcy. As his empire begins to crumble, he must fight his way back to the top. Amid the financial chaos, he also faces problems in his personal life, as his wife tries to maintain her status even in the face of the financial crisis. And there is no shortage of political intrigue and shady deals, with parallel stories involving a trial with a strong racial component.

The cast includes Jeff Daniels (“The Newsroom”) as the tycoon, as well as Diane Lane (“Zack Snyder’s Justice League”), William Jackson Harper (“The Good Place”), Aml Ameen (“Love Life”), Tom Pelphrey (“Iron Fist”), Sarah Jones (“For All Mankind”), Jon Michael Hill (“The Good Fight”), Chanté Adams (“Roxanne Roxanne”), Lucy Liu (“Elementary”) and Bill Camp (The price of truth”).

The production consists of six episodes, was developed by David E. Kelley (creator of “Big Little Lies”) and is directed by Regina King (“Watchmen”) and Thomas Schlamme (“The West Wing”).

The premiere is scheduled for May 2nd.
