Elizabeth refuses to file a complaint against Catherine

At dawn, Francois tells Lorin that Elisabeth will not file a complaint against her mother. While he wonders how Catherine could do such a stupid thing, Lauryn points out that it’s all her fault. If he is the first to notice that Catherine has many faults, he still makes it clear that she did not deserve to be treated this way. Since he’s doing the exact same thing with Boris, Lorin advises him to be careful before it all blows up in his hands. Even though they’re a dysfunctional family, Lauryn eventually reminds him that they’re still a family, and that’s what matters.

Francois then joins Catherine and tells her that Elizabeth has refused to file a complaint. When he asks what he wants in return, Francois replies that he wants him to vote for the merger and acquisition at the board meeting next week. And to be sure, he pretends that he was struggling because the idea of meeting him in prison was unbearable for him.

At the hospital, Janet worries about Allen, who she sees as particularly tired. So he advises her to go back, but the doctor assures her that everything is fine. Claire, having seen their discussion, asks Dr. Louis about his condition. The latter then tells him that Elizabeth kicked him out. Without waiting, Claire calls the businessman, who tells her the whole story. After Hugh’s share of betrayals, Elizabeth vows to never trust a man again.

As night falls, Philippe tells Thais that Arnaud never agreed to his marriage to Anna. Indeed, Arno’s mother died when he was young and he never survived. This, of course, is also why he has such difficulty accepting the prospect of Philip’s death. Today, Arno cannot feel new sadness.

At the same time, Philip receives a call from Annie, who warns that she will be home late. In fact, the latter joins his lover in front of the hotel.

At the end of the day, Lorin informs Boris that the merger will happen. A hard blow for a young man who realizes that his mother has been manipulative from the beginning, but above all, he is no better than his father…

Thais discovers the true face of the Agera family

In the morning, Arnaud urges his father to fight and urges him to make an appointment with a specialist in Paris. Unfortunately, Filipe categorically refuses. After a while, Annie joins their discussion and confirms that the doctors who follow her father are very competent. After she abruptly cuts him off, Arno says he doesn’t trust her. According to her, she married her father only for money.

In turn, Tice confides in Maeve about Philip’s health and tries to convince her that he is doomed. Understanding, Maeva advises him to take a step back, to be less emotionally involved. Unfortunately, it’s too late as Thais has already attached himself to her.

Not far from there, Arno walks into Dr. Lewis’s office and demands to know how he’s doing with his father. Unfortunately, Janet is protected by medical confidentiality. So he asks her to accompany him to his next meeting to get answers to his questions. Enraged, he threatens to take her to court if she finds the slightest negligence on her part towards her father.

Meanwhile, Louie, informed by Maeva about what she’s going through at the moment, comes to check on Thais. The latter then claims that the situation is dire. To reassure her, Louis explains that support is important and that what he’s doing really makes sense.

At the end of the day, Tice and Philip are playing a game of Go, when he comes home Arno is tense and asks to talk to his father. However, he refuses until Anna apologizes. After he replies that he told the truth, Arno angrily leaves the place.

After a while, Tice joins Arno in the garden and then tries to find out why he is angry with Ann. For Arno, he has no desire for Philippe to heal and it’s entirely his fault if he refuses to fight. And to add that he can only wait for her to die. While Tice thinks she’s making the picture darker, Arno asks her to let him go before specifying that he doesn’t want her involved in their family stories.
