A motorcyclist monitored by an electronic ankle monitor was arrested red-handed, this Tuesday (16), after the police found 1 kg of cocaine on him during an approach in the Cajuru neighborhood, in Curitiba (PR).
According to the prime minister, the suspect declared that he would deliver the drugs to a customer in exchange for money. The man who allegedly received the drug was also arrested as the “delivery man” approached. The case occurred on Salvador Street.
“While patrolling the neighborhood, the team saw a motorcycle traveling along the same street several times, which caught our attention. We decided to move closer to make the approach, and he tried to flee when he noticed our presence”, said soldier Vernick, from Rondas Mobile Tactical Extensible (Rotam).
After attempting to escape, the suspect was approached and police found cocaine on him. The man confessed that he would have delivered the drugs to the driver of a car who was near the scene of the approach.

“He reported the vehicle being used by the person waiting, and while approaching the motorcyclist, this driver entered the same road we were on,” Vernick said B band.
Police approached the driver and found marijuana on him. Both, who already had criminal records, were arrested and taken to the police station.
