The Student League debuts in Curitiba with 11 sports


The event is scheduled for the 27th, at Clube Social Paraná, and will feature brand ambassadors Gean Sampaio and Bboy Luan San

The Liga Esportiva Nescau, the largest multi-sport student league in Brazil and pioneer in bringing together adapted and non-adapted modalities in one place, will arrive in Curitiba, Saturday 27, at the Clube Social Paraná.




This is the first time the event has been held in Paraná since its debut in 2015. With the presence of ambassadors Gean Sampaio, influencer and physical educator, and Bboy Luan San, athlete of Breaking, an urban dance style, the event will feature 11 sports practices, including modalities, challenges and workshops.

Among the methods, children and young people aged 7 to 17 will be able to participate in Basketball, Club Football, Ping Pong and Beach Tennis. In the adapted mode, the sport is table tennis. As for the challenges, the options will be Shot on Goal, 3-Point Shot and a giant version of the classic Twister. In the workshops the children will learn board games, Slackline and Cornhole, a game in which it is necessary to hit bags containing corn inside an inclined wooden board with holes.

“We want more and more children and young people of different ages and places to come into contact with sport, to get to know each other, respect each other and have fun together through coexistence in an environment like the Lega Sportiva, which has as its pillar sports practice a channel of incentive and inclusion”, says Luana Carvalho, marketing manager of the brand. “In this third phase of the championship in 2024, we expect more than 1 thousand participants and more than 2 thousand registrations for our debut in Curitiba”, underlines Luana.

The competition includes the following categories: Children – aged 7 to 9 (born between 2015 and 2017); Nursery school – 10 and 11 years old (born in 2013 and 2014); Boys – 14 and 15 years old (born in 2011 and 2012); Boys – 14 and 15 years old (born in 2009 and 2010); Minors – 16 and 17 years old (born in 2007 and 2008). Boys and girls born in 2017 are eligible for the Workshops and Challenges.

Investing in the future

In nine editions, the Sports League has already impacted the lives of over 55 thousand children and adolescents aged 7 to 17, as well as 7 thousand teachers, with the participation of around 2 thousand institutions from every corner of the country. In 2023 alone, the initiative has provided more than 600 hours of sports practice, with more than 45 modalities, including conventional and adapted, workshops and challenges.

Since 2015, the Lega Sportiva has had the aim of encouraging physical activity and promoting the values ​​of sport. In 2024, in its tenth edition, it follows the vocation that has transformed it into the largest and most inclusive student multisport championship in Brazil, being a pioneer in combining conventional and adapted modalities on the same days and places.
