The animation Transformers: the beginningfrom Paramount Pictures, which is scheduled to premiere in September, has just received a trailer and the first official poster, with Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee and Elita still young, before their arrival on Earth.
It’s the first time the Transformers franchise has hit theaters as animation, following a series of live action films. As part of a promotional action by the company, the preview was launched directly from space and broadcast on the social networks of the film, the distributor and Chris Hemsworth, the original voice of one of the characters.
The film tells the origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, the franchise’s greatest rivals, but who were once friends almost like brothers and who changed the fate of Cybertron forever. Check out the trailer below:
Hollywood stars make up the voice cast
Directed by Josh Cooley, a director already known for works such as “Toy Story 4” and the short film “Riley’s First Date”, “Transformers: The Beginning” also has a screenplay by Andrew Barrer, Gabriel Ferrari and Bobby Rubio.
The executive producers are Steven Spielberg, Oliver Dumont, BJ Farmer, Zev Foreman, Brian Oliver and Matt Quigg. The film is scheduled to premiere in September this year, only in theaters.
