Advance screenings of the film, which premieres on May 1st in Brazilian cinemas, take place in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília and Belo Horizonte

Love Lies Bleeding: Love Bleedsnew A24 film starring Kristen Stewart (Twilight), which premieres on May 1st in Brazilian cinemas, will have previews in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília and Belo Horizonte this Saturday, April 20th. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased clicking here.

Directed by Rose Glass (Saint Maud), the production tells the story of Lou (Stewart), who ends up falling in love with Jackie (Katy O’Brian, The Mandalorian), an ambitious bodybuilder visiting Las Vegas to pursue her dream.

In an interview with Rolling Stonelast February, Kristen Stewart stated that “it was so fucking fun to have the possibility of turning this little lesbian sister into the protagonist of a film”:

“That’s never a main character in a movie. That’s never the person you want to fuck. I mean, that’s the person some people want to fuck with. [foder]but not the one you necessarily want to fuck”he added.

In the conversation, the actress also celebrated the fact that Love Lies Bleeding: Love Bleeds not be a film about the experience of coming out about your sexuality, as you haven’t dealt with this issue in your daily life since you decided to be honest about being bisexual.
