“The Witcher”: the Netflix series will end with the 5th season
Geralt de la Rivia’s TV story will come to an end after its fifth season, Netflix announced on April 18.
The final season of ‘The Witcher’ will be filmed alongside the fourth, marking the end of Geralt’s story.
Seasons 4 and 5 will adapt Andrzej Sapkowski’s remaining books, ‘The Baptism of Fire’, ‘The Swallow Tower’ and ‘The Lady of the Lake’.
Season 4 of ‘The Witcher’ is in production
For eager fans, the streaming service also announced that production on the fourth season has officially begun. He also shared a clip of a script reading with most of the cast.
The next episode follows Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri as they must cross, separated from each other, the war-torn continent of Epirus and its many demons, while discovering if they are capable of leading the bands of misfits into the which are found to survive the baptism of fire and reunite.
The show’s cast remains practically the same as previous seasons, except for the addition of Liam Hemsworth as Geralt de la Rivia.
Because “The Witcher” season 4 is still in production, there is no release date.
Why Henry Cavill left ‘The Witcher’?
Nearly two years after he left the Netflix series, neither Henry Cavill nor the producers have revealed why the actor left the project.
At the time, it was widely reported that he would be busy with other work commitments.
