who is he with
In this sitcom we meet Ramsay Bedia, Beranger McNeese, Camille Chamou, Brahim Bouhlel, Tristan Lopin, Lorraine “Lapoteguenant”, Dolly, Alexandra Roth and Samuel Bambi, but also appearances by Manu Payet and Jamel Debussy. A few special guests (whose names we won’t mention here to preserve the surprise!) also appear in the credits…
Terminal was written by Giulio Callegar, Xavier Lacaille, Angela Supe, Clemens Dargent, Yohan Zaoui, Mohamed Hamid, and Jamel Debuz. The latter two also shared the production of twelve episodes of fiction.
Is it worth checking out?
Jamel Debussy, Ramsay Bedia and a sitcom on Canal+… doesn’t it sound like déjà vu? More than 20 years after H, the friends are back as part of the encrypted channel and return in 2024 with a brand new comic book: The Terminal.
Get out of the hospital corridors and head for the airport departure lounges, the perfect meeting place to imagine fun moments! People here often get into the place in a hurry (except for our very cool low-cost crew) and anything can happen…even the most improbable!
Filmed in front of a very engaged audience (viewers gave live feedback on scenes and taps to improve them), this sitcom made France spares no one. The humor is corrosive and touches on all subjects without taboos, but always with good content.
The alchemy between the cast members (long-time friends with promising newcomers in a wonderful ensemble) works and the jokes fly at high speed under the direction of Jamel Debussy as Ramsay Bedia (recently seen in Blood and Money). A loser/liar role like Michael Scott (Steve Carell) from The Office…and he always does it well!
A special mention among women who work among actors. They excel at offering convincing interpretations of their confident characters with sharp lines in the face of their mostly dumb male counterparts.
So, it’s clear that the turmoil still hasn’t calmed down two decades and a few years later! We smile and laugh as we find their absurd and characteristic tone that we adore (and which made H successful at the time too)…unfortunately, without surprise.
It’s all attractive and remains a pleasure to watch… However, the terminal doesn’t wow us or tease us until it soars too high. Despite everything, Jamel Debuz and his colleagues did what they do best and they absolutely do not deserve it.
The terminal can be discovered this Monday, April 22, 2024, from 21:06 on Canal+.
