In July, the actor will be tried for the death of Halyna Hutchins, director of photography for ‘Rust’
Alec Baldwin was in a New York coffee shop on the phone when he was approached by an apparently pro-Palestine protester. “Aleccould you please say ‘Free Palestine’ once?” asks someone recording with their own cell phone.
The supposed activist then said: “Why did you kill that woman?” He was referring to the case of Halyna Hutchinsdirector of photography accidentally killed on the set of Rust. Baldwin would have been responsible for pulling the trigger of a weapon that was supposed to be scenographic.
Recently, the gunsmith Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was sentenced to 18 months in prison. The actor’s trial will begin in July this year.
The person filming added: “You killed that woman, you didn’t go to jail. No jail, Alec. You put innocent people in jail, Alec Baldwin“. At that moment, a cafeteria employee tried to resolve the situation.
After being insistently pestered by the person asking him to say phrases in favor of Palestine, Baldwin told the employee to call the police. Then, the actor slapped the cell phone that was recording everything, stopping the video. Watch:
