Universal Pictures has released the trailer for “Speak No Evil”, the American remake of the Danish film of the same name, winner of eight international awards.
In the plot, the friendship formed between two couples on holiday in Europe leads to an invitation to visit. But once they arrive at the hosts’ idyllic country house, the guest couple quickly realize that something is wrong and the holiday soon turns into a psychological nightmare. James McAvoy (in his best “Split”) and Aisling Franciosi (“The Nightingale”) play the owners, while Scoot McNairy (“Blonde”) and Mackenzie Davis (“Terminator: Dark Fate”) play the visitors. The cast also includes children Dan Hough (“Hollyoaks”) and Alix West Lefler (“Riverdale”).
Directed by James Watkins (“The Woman in Black”), the new version of “Não Fale o Mal” will premiere October 12 in Brazil, two months after its U.S. release.
