The value of the registration fee for Enem 2024 has not yet been announced, but, if there are no changes, the value should be the same as the previous edition: R$85.

Performance in the National High School Examination (Enem) allows students to access higher education courses through Ministry of Education (MEC) programs, such as the Unified Selection System (SiSU).

Who can request exemption from the Enem 2024 registration fee?

Candidates who demonstrate one of the following conditions can request exemption from the Enem 2020 registration fee:

• Be a high school senior in 2024 (of any type) in the public network;

• Have completed all high school education in the public school system or as a scholarship holder in the private school system; and have a monthly household income, per capita, up to minimum wage and a half;

• Declare a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability, as a member of a low-income family, registered in the Single Registry of Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico);

• Participants in the Pé-de-Meia Program who are in their third year of high school.

Exemption from the Enem 2024 registration fee

Exemption from the registration fee for Enem 2024 allows students to take exams for freewithout paying the fee, which in the last edition was R$85.

Remembering that students in the third and final year of high school are automatically exempt from paying the registration fee.

Justification for absence from Enem 2023

The student who took the Enem 2023 exams for free, with the exemption request accepted, and who did not show up on the exam days, will have to justify his absence if he intends to request the exemption in this edition.

The request for justification of absence from Enem 2023 can be submitted within the same period as the exemption, between 15 and 26 April. Interested parties can also send the request on the participating page. For what it is necessary to demonstrate this with specific documentation.
