The dancers of the country music group Leonardo recorded a video this Saturday 27th in which they take a stand following the controversy over the use of underwear, after a video of the singer’s show went viral on social media.

During the show, the dancers wore short dresses and netizens speculated that they were not wearing underwear under their clothes.

“We are the dancers of the singer Leonardo and it is obvious that we wear panties,” they said in the video posted on the singer’s official ballet profile.

“After the controversy over a clearly edited video in which they blurred the image to make it appear that the girls were without panties. Our girls decided to respond in a relaxed way, different from how they had been approached,” the publication’s caption informed .

The positioning occurred after a video of a Leonardo show circulated on the internet between Thursday (25th) and Friday (26th), in which the dancers dance in short dresses. Some netizens said they were without underwear, while others said the dancers were perhaps wearing thongs.

With the backlash, the compatriot’s name ended up on Twitter’s trending topics (TT). Leonardo has not commented on the matter.
