Things are going well for action star Gerard Butler! After surviving the apocalyptic events of Greenland, Gerard Butler is back for part two!

The actor reprises his role as John Garritt alongside Morena Baccarin. She plays his ex-wife, Alison. The film is directed by Rick Roman Waugh.

In the first opus, a comet was about to crash into Earth and cause a global apocalypse. John decides to embark on a perilous journey with his ex-wife, Alison, and their son, Nathan, to reach the last refuge safe from the disaster.

In The Greenland Migration, part two, John and his family will be forced to leave this haven in Greenland to find a new home. They will then embark on a perilous journey across the frozen and desolate lands of Europe.

The director will team up with Gerard Butler for the third time after The Fall of the President and Greenland. The two also have a project called Night Has Fallen, in which Butler will reprise his role as secret agent Mike Banning.

Gerard Butler has wrapped filming on the sequel to the 2018 action film, Criminal Squad 2, with the actor reprising his role as ‘Big Nick’ O’Brien, who hunts down bad guys on the streets of Europe and comes close to catching Donnie. (O’Shea Jackson Jr.). During this time, the latter got into the dangerous world of diamond thieves and panther mafia.
