The site reportedly claims to have heard about the project years ago involving Disney+, but the situation has since evolved into an adaptation aimed at theaters.
However, it was also said that the project is in the conceptual stage and so “nothing got the green light” to do. This means that if the film is approved, it will still be a long time before it is shown.
Considering the nature of Kingdom Hearts, its popularity, and its characters, making an animated film based on the franchise seems like a logical decision.
