Former The View co-host Meredith Vieira doesn’t seem too keen on returning to the tumultuous chat schedule

Meredith Vieira is one of the five women who launched Visualization in 1997, and the show wouldn’t have lasted 25 seasons without the success of those early years. She stayed on the show for nine seasons before she left, and although she has since returned as a guest guest, her recent comments from her about Visualization indicate that she is probably unwilling to get her co-hosting job back.

The TV personality turned journalist appeared on daily pop to talk about her career, and the conversation naturally shifted to her relocation Visualization. when daily pop Co-host Justin Sylvester wondered if Meredith Vieira would ever want to return to her work during the show’s most controversial period, replied:

There is a time for everything, I like to say, and I have had my time. Oh, it sounds like jail, actually, but I’ve been through nine years and I loved it. And the show has evolved. It’s a different show, and I think it’s great.

Although Meredith Vieira said she “loved” her time VisualizationSaying he’s served his sentence and then acknowledging that he looks like he’s in prison suggests he’s fine if he doesn’t come back as a full-time host. Overall, his response sounded like a very diplomatic and respectful way to say a firm “no”.

It wasn’t long ago that she returned to her old talk shows, but not because she was testing the waters to potentially return full-time. Along with other favorites from OG Star Jones and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Vieira intervened as a guest guest to help complete the list of women at the table during Whoop Goldberg’s suspension .

Star Jones was, of course, one of the original co-hosts of Visualization alongside Meredith Vieira, and were joined by Debbie Matenopoulos (who left the show in 1998 after just two seasons and it never returned as a normal ), Joy Behar (who has been a regular co-host of all but two seasons since 1997) and Barbara Walters. Elisabeth Hasselbeck was inducted into season 7 and stayed until season 16.

The show has gone through many co-hosts since Meredith Vieira’s departure in 2006, and some have involved their fair share of drama. Meghan McCain was a controversial part of the panel during and even after her time there, and the show has increasingly involved politics over the years, with Debbie Matenopoulos even stepping out earlier this year to say that Visualization It was never meant to be a politician .

McCain stated this in 2021 Visualization it was a toxic workplace with problems behind the scenes although ABC he would have applauded his remarks shortly after making them. Former host Candace Cameron Bure, who served as a conservative voice on the panel for two seasons, has since said suffer from “PTSD” while trying to manage emotional stress Opera

All in all, perhaps it is for the best that Meredith Vieira cherishes the nine years she has loved in Visualization and won’t be returning as a full-time host. Fans can still enjoy it if she makes her appearance again, even as she seems happy to move on with her career and pursue different types of gigs.
