Claire plots against Tacey
After learning from Captain Brassac that Bleupre had caught fire in the evening and that nothing was left of her, Teissier was devastated. Constance returns home to be with him and support him. He really empathizes with her situation and tries to find the positive in getting them back together. At the same time, Teissier receives a message from Antoine, who also summons Rose and Clotilde to analyze the report.
Master’s students at the seminar are shocked. Jude wonders if they accidentally started a fire when they went there to eat the other afternoon. Mehdi and Enzo reply that they checked everything before leaving. Either way, they are disappointed because working at Bleupré would be a great opportunity. Anais, on the other hand, feels sympathy for Teyssier, whose dream has gone up in smoke. However, Salome believes that she can bounce back.
In the offices, Armand’s sisters accuse Teissier of irresponsibility: he should never have allowed students to eat while the place was still under construction. However, Teissier and Antoine believe that nothing is lost and that they will be able to restore the building by postponing its opening. A very angry Rose believes that Teissier should no longer be the director of the institute.
After receiving confirmation on the phone, Antoine tells his colleagues and his boss that the firemen’s conclusion is categorical: the fire was accidental. However, it adds that the insurance refuses to reimburse them because the smoke detectors were not installed. The bank gives them 48 hours to provide proof that they can pay. Otherwise, they will start the recovery procedure, which means they can contact the institute!
Clotilda and Rose are stunned. The boss still wants to fight to find a way out. He hopes to find a trustworthy person willing to invest in the institute. Everyone agrees. Given the circumstances, they also unanimously decided to postpone a vote on a potential change in school leadership.
At the park, Leroy comes to see Teisier to support and encourage her, pointing out that she always came out of the worst situations. Indeed, Teissier recalls Edouard Faye, Solal’s father, who wanted to invest in the Institute before his project with Salome failed. At the same time, Teissier receives a message from Constance. He then confides in Mark that his wife is looking for a quieter life and that he wants them to move to the Landes. However, Tessier does not know if he is ready to leave the institute.
Meanwhile, Claire calls Anais, who is in the park with Salome, to offer her a week or two at her friend’s gourmet restaurant in downtown Antibes, time to revamp the menu. Anais is interested, but wants to discuss it with Tessier about the double first. Claire replies that her opinion isn’t needed given that she won’t be at the helm of the Institute any time soon. After the chef leaves, Anais and Salome wonder where he’s getting such assurances about Tacey’s fate when the Board of Education vote is postponed.
A little later, Salome finds Claire at the commissary. He takes the call and informs the young girl that he wants to answer in person. So Salome pretends to leave, but stays there to listen to the chef’s conversation. Thus, he discovers that Guino is actually planning to free Tacey forever with his interlocutor, with whom he arranges a meeting the next morning at a cafe in the center…
Billy destroys Tom’s last hopes
In class, Tom doesn’t notice that Bill is grinning from ear to ear. Cautiously, she asks Leonard how their night at the singles club went, and especially if Billy met anyone there. Leonard replies that he doesn’t know because Bill was spending time with Maya, not him.
After class, Tom looks for Maya, who is studying with Malik. So he asks them if they know anything about Bill. Maya admits that she danced with the boy all night and they came home together. Tom barely gets a shot.
A little later, Leonard comes to ask for news about Tom. She is intrigued after learning that Billy slept with another guy. He feels guilty for ruining their relationship when he never loved anyone so much before. Leonard explains to her that it will take time to get over their breakup.
In turn, Maya finds Billy in his room to confirm that he did indeed lie to Tom as he asked. She also says that Tom’s reaction broke her heart and that she still loves Bill. The latter admits that he loves her too, but this is not enough to break up between them. So she made him believe that she had moved so that he would also move forward on her side.
Argument between Carla and Berenice
At the institute, Berenice and Carla argue about Tessier and Rose. The former defends his brother and Blaupre, while the latter takes the side of Latour and his master. So when Berenice suggests that Carla go see Rose to calm things down, the young girl walks away.
A little later, Berenia apologizes for trying to manipulate her. But he walks back the charge, explaining that he thinks it’s unfair that people are attacking Teysier. Carla replies that her mother is making Marthal pay for what she did behind her back.
In the cafeteria, Carla complains about Berenice’s behavior towards Suleiman and Rose. The young girl once again calls her “mother” in public. Deeply distressed, Rose recklessly takes Carla’s side in an argument with her lover, which Suleiman carefully points out to her. But Rose couldn’t see herself contradicting Carla after what she said, marking a real step in their relationship.
