What does the press think?
According to Recreational television (4/5):
“What stands out above all in this new work, which is more faithful to the spirit of the original manga, is the truly dark side of the adventure. With the quick death of Nick’s teammate, the desire for revenge of his sister, which “associates the detective and the investigation of the duo, on the trail of a terrible drug that has its origins in the Second World War In the chaos he finds himself… it all culminates in a spectacular and heart-wrenching finale.”
According to The Huffington Post (4/5):
Nicky Larson’s adaptation deeply respects Tsukasa Hojo’s original work by mixing explosive action scenes with light-hearted humor.
According to Geek Journal (3/5):
“Nicky Larson is an absolutely honorable adaptation of City Hunter with its characters and world. Funny and not stingy in the action, we find everything that makes the manga special. It’s a shame that the film has to limit itself to the strict framework imposed by Netflix for its general performances, which He’s pushed, if not down, at least by the perfect Nikki Larson in a production he has far less of.
According to Პirveli (1/5):
“It’s Nikki Larson trying to live up to everything she thinks is expected of her. So much so that she becomes shameless. Despite some effective action sequences where the detective shows all her class, the film has nothing to say.”

According to Diem V (5/5):
“Great adaptation of City Hunter. The actors are very similar, especially Ryohei Suzuki, who knew how to play Ryo perfectly. The facial expressions and facial expressions of the actor are crazy because he can not look like a stupid pervert. What a joy to watch a total bad guy laugh out loud.
According to Armand Inho (4/5):
“Nice, but you have to watch it on Vostfr to soak up the atmosphere, I say yes!”
According to fafao (2.5/5):
“Big fan of City Hunter, I was a bit bored with this version, despite the main cast doing everything, and some well-choreographed action scenes, some are heavy, some scenes are too long and boring, many are missing. Evil jokes like manga and ironic music, except for the end credits, which succeeds…
So yes, we can say that in 2024, Lacheau still has the best manga and anime production/adaptation, with his cupid scent, much more fun to watch and rewatch, Kokoriko!”
According to Laia (1.5/5):
“I love the manga, but then, I didn’t like this live action at all, no doubt you have to appreciate the humor style, which is definitely not my case, a big disappointment.”
