On Monday, April 29, 2024, Canal+ continues to broadcast its new and friendly sitcom Terminal from 21:10. In this comic fiction we follow the crazy adventures of the crew members of a plane from the (very) low-cost company Flywingz… Jack, the captain with a broken arm, played by Ramsay Bedia, and his crew (also very plate-side) clearly have more important things to worry about than their passengers Prosperity!
Unique device in the world created for “terminal”
More than twenty years after H, the actor, who we recently saw in D’Argent et de Sang, reunites with his friend Jamel Debouze, whom we see during his appearances on screen. He also works here as one of the screenwriters, but also directs twelve episodes of this season 1 alongside Mohamed Hamid.
During the CANNESERIES 2024 festival, where the terminal was presented without competition, AlloCiné spoke with them. At our microphone, the directing duo especially returned to the unique equipment in the world that they created and used to shoot the series.
“Our big innovation in this set was the turnstile, or revolving auditorium– Mohammad Hamidi started. Thus, the audience that came to watch the production of Terminal (which was inspired by… Friends!) was installed on stands that could be moved around the huge studios, covering an area of 3500 square meters, from the setting to the arrangement. on stage.
“Fast pace and adaptability”
“Our scenes were always ready, so the scenes could really come together. For example, we did a sequence in front of the cockpit, played it two or three times, then bam! The stands in which our spectators were sitting were moving in place“, the director explained.
“People did not move and found themselves in front of the rest room, then in front of the departure hall, in front of the security room, etc.Mohammad Hamid in detail. It is completely new and much more efficient in filming.“
“Technically, frankly, it’s revolutionaryJamel Debuz added. We had this incredible tool at our disposal, and we had a ferocious pace and ability to adapt. He did not stop and put the actors in a certain position, they were sharp!“
Terminal continues tonight on Canal+ from 21:10.
