Fallout becomes Prime Video’s second-best debut

Absolute success, Fall recorded 65 million views in the first 16 days of availability on Prime Video, according to data released by the stream. According to information from Variety, the brand places the series in second place in terms of audience for original content on the platform, behind only The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

The plot of Fall is set in the year 2296, approximately two decades after the nuclear catastrophe that devastated the United States and much of the world. In this dark environment, inhabited by mutants, cannibals and suspicious survivors, we follow the journey of Lucy, played by Ella Purnell, in a desperate search for her father (Kyle MacLachlan) who has been kidnapped.

In addition to Purnell and MacLachlan, the cast also includes Sarita Choudhury (Homeland), Michael Emerson (Lost), Leslie Uggams (Dead Pool) and Frances Turner (The boys).

Filled with important references, the series offers viewers an experience that echoes the most striking elements of the games in the franchise, while offering an accessible narrative for new fans of this post-apocalyptic universe.

The adaptation also introduces new characters and advances the timeline, placing it in a later period than previous games. This decision gives viewers a broader and more detailed look at the universe Fall. Find out more here!
