Where to watch ‘Marry My Husband’? The k-drama that compares to the story of Karla Panini and Karla Luna
Marry my man is available on streaming platforms Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV. Both services include subtitles and Spanish dubbing.
“Marry my man” has 16 episodes of about 1 hour each. It should be noted that, at the moment, it only has one season and, since the ending is closed and does not leave loose, it is unlikely that it will be renewed for a second installment.
The similarities between the k-drama ‘Marry my man’ and the story of Karla Panini and Karla Luna
The drama came to light after American influencer Stephanie Soo featured it in a TikTok video as a dramatized version of the scandal between the hosts of ‘The Washerwomen’.
The most obvious similarity between the Marry my Man series and the story of Karla Panini and Karla Luna is that while one of the women was dealing with cancer, the other was in a relationship with her husband.
Furthermore, in k-drama, the best friend is the one who lives with the main character’s husband and children. She even announces the pregnancy of another member of her new family.
However, in “Marry My Husband,” Kang Ji Won gets a sort of revenge and happy ending.
Although many can see the similarities between “Marry My Husband” and the feud between Karla Panini and Karla Luna, the drama is based on a novel published online with the same name.
Before being adapted into a TV series, ‘Marry My Husband’ was also a ‘webtoon’, a type of digital comic.
