The government announces a public competition to fill 200 vacancies in the IT sector, with temporary hires and a salary of R$ 8,300

The Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services has announced the opening of a public competition to hire, on a temporary basis, 200 IT professionals who will work in the federal government’s digital transformation processes. The vacancies are aimed at specialists in data science and software development Softwareproject management, safety and technology of information.




Registrations can be made from 2 to 20 May via the AOCP Institute website upon payment of R$ 60. Candidates registered in CadÚnico and bone marrow donors can request exemption from the fee until 6 May.

Job offers for IT professionals

The simplified selection process aims to fill the temporary need to hire IT professionals for the Gov.br Startup Program. The duration of the contracts will be four years, but there is the possibility of an extension to complete the activities. According to the notice, the gross compensation for all positions will be R$8,300, in addition to the living allowance (undisclosed amount).

Those selected must complete a 40-hour weekly workload in person, linked to the Digital Government Secretariat of the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services, based in Brasilia/DF — but there is an opening for telework through the adhering to the Personnel Management and Performance Programme.

The hiring requirements require, in addition to being in compliance with electoral obligations, that the successful candidates have a higher qualification in any area of ​​knowledge and have five years of professional experience or a master’s or doctorate in the following areas:
