Fans of Cobra Kai, attention: the wait for the arrival of the sixth and final season of the series in the Netflix catalog can now begin the countdown. The streaming giant has just announced that the new episodes will be released on July 18th.
However, there is something new: the sixth season, made up of 15 episodes, will be divided into three parts, with the July premiere corresponding to the release of only the first of these three.
The second part arrives again this year, on November 28th. And the final part, which concludes the sixth season and the series, is expected to arrive in 2025, but no specific date has been confirmed yet.
Apparently, the split will be five episodes for each of these parts. Watch the announcement video below:
Season 6 is the biggest yet Cobra Kai
“Our sensei and students must decide if and how they will compete in the Sekai Taikai, the world karate championship,” the official description for season six states.
In the cast of the episodes that will conclude the story we will once again have the actors Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Martin Kove and Yuji Okumoto who will reprise the roles introduced in the films Karate Kidfranchising in which Cobra Kai it’s based.
Actors introduced only in the series also return to their roles, such as Xolo Maridueña, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Peyton List, Gianni DeCenzo, Courtney Henggeler and Vanessa Rubio.
