Cena, the series: Netflix reveals first images of its biopic on the legendary pilot

Senna, the mini-series about the eponymous Formula 1 champion, reveals his first images in a high-speed teaser depicting his historic win – and the first in his hometown of Sao Paulo – at the 1991 Brazilian Grand Prix after a particularly tough race.

Thus, the teaser introduces Gabrielle Leone as the pilot of the same name. The young actor is known for starring in the Brazilian series DOM from Prime Video, as well as Michael Mann’s biopic Ferrari, in which he played Alfonso de Portago opposite Adam Driver, Penelope Cruz and Shailene Woodley.

During its six episodes, Sena Therefore, for the first time, there will be a trip by Ayrton Senna, the famous Brazilian Formula 1 driver who died in a tragic accident at the San Marino Grand Prix in 1994.

The starting point of the series will be the beginning of the career of the three-time champion. The show will also explore his personality and personal relationships, as well as his professional ups and downs.

With Vicente Amorim as showrunner and co-director, along with Julia Rezende, Sena Produced by Fabiano Gullane and Caio Gullane, with support from Senna Brands and the pilot family.

Besides Gabriel LeoneThe mini-series will also star Matt Mella, Johannes Heinrichs, Joe Hurst, Stephen McIntosh and Kaia Scodelario, who was recently seen on The Gentlemen and whose mother is Brazilian.
