86 years, 50 films, 2 Oscars: when will we see this legendary person in the cinema?

At the age of 86, Claude Lelouch is putting the finishing touches on his 51st feature film, FINALLY! The Palme d’Or-winning filmmaker, with a man and a woman, once again takes on a love story against the background of motor racing, combining two subjects that he particularly likes.

The synopsis tells us to follow the fortunes of a brilliant lawyer who loses the ability to lie after a health problem. He then embarks on a road trip to France while the 24 Hours of Le Mans is running simultaneously, falls in love with a woman other than his wife, and indulges his passion: the horn.

The cast includes Cad Meradi, Elsa Silberstein, Michel Boujena, Sandrine Bonner, Barbara Prave, Françoise Gillard (comédie-franceise member), Marianne Denicur, François Morel, Françoise Fabian, Raphael Mezrah, and Lionel Abel in particular.

Finally, it will be released this fall in France, on November 13, 2024 to be exact.

Claude Lelouch’s previous film, Love Is Better Than Life, which was released in 2022, recorded nearly 200,000 attendees.
