Brazil will have a new representative in the Netflix catalog. The science fiction film Bionics the first images from the platform have been released. Additionally, the film, announced in 2021, has finally gotten a release date.
Bionics is the first Brazilian science fiction film set in a dystopian future. In the plot, robotics has already become part of the daily life of the population (and of high-level athletes). The images released by Netflix show the film’s characters in futuristic settings, with robotic body parts and fight scenes (see below).
Directed by Alfonso Poyat (Aldo: Stronger than the world), the film stars Jessica Córes, Bruno Gagliasso, Christian Malheiros, Gabz and Klebber Toledo.
